The Parlay Betting System in Blackjack

It goes on that once a blackjack player wins they should gamble their winnings in additional to their original bet on successive betting rounds. Losing from the game will signify that the player reduces their bet to the original wager.
This is similar to the popular Paroli system which also involves progression of bets in such a way as to build a pyramid of profits. Many blackjack players find the Parlay system a good system to use in conjunction with a good blackjack strategy.
Others also call the Parlay system used when playing blackjack as a Let It Ride System since the player's winnings are left on the table to ride for the next hand play. The Parlay system is not only useful in blackjack games but in horse racing as well.
To apply the theory of the Parlay system into its practical application, a concrete example can be cited. A blackjack player who places a bet of $10 for instance will win at a ratio of 3:2 which means that upon winning his $10 will earn him $15. To add the $15 winnings with the initial bet of $10, the player will then place a bet of $25 for the next hand.
The cycle continues as long as the winning streak is at the player's side. Losing streak on the other hand will compel a blackjack player to return back their original bet. Although the Parlay seems to be a good betting system, blackjack players should always keep in mind that the casino house edge remains supreme in the game of blackjack unless played with a good strategy.
Hence, they should ensure to play with an optimized strategy and to take into account proper bankroll management while playing blackjack. Hot winning streaks can always end hence it is best for a blackjack player to always learn to walk away with a big winning than to lose it all over again to the casino when they never learn to set limits on their blackjack gambling.
